Trollhättan Energi is a company that goes back a whole century. Over all these decades our goal has been to safely and securely supply light and heat to our customers. And, of course, that’s still our goal, but nowadays the company has expanded into several new business areas and we’ve pretty much developed into “The city’s new environmental company”.

Today Trollhättan Energi is responsible for the municipal power grid, district heating network, water and sewage, and the “city net” (an ever growing fibre optic network for TV, telephony and broadband). In addition, we sell district heat, water and biogas. These are all products and services that make it easier to live our everyday lives.

We hope you feel the caring we put into everything we do, and that you know we are seriously focusing on sustainable development for our city. The environmental issues at hand are of vital importance, and our efforts in district heating and biogas have made the air of Trollhättan much cleaner. It’s a question of emissions reduced by some tens of thousands of tonnes of carbon dioxide a year.

Our aspirations are based, naturally, upon the goals and guidelines set forth by our owners, the City of Trollhättan. We can always improve, even though last year’s delivery reliability for the power grid was all of 99.99%, and pretty hard to beat.

This year we have, among other things, increased our customer service open hours by an additional hour and, via our duty desk, you can in an emergency situation reach us 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.
